Lions run away with fourth straight win
Asheville Christian Academy rolls to 55-31 win at home

The Asheville Christian Academy women’s basketball extended its winning streak to four games, Dec. 5, with a 55-31 victory over Forsyth Country Day School.
The Lions came into their home opener against the Furies with a 3-1 mark after earning consecutive victories on the road against Carmel Christian, Hickory Grove Christian and Knoxville Catholic. ACA hasn’t lost a contest since falling to Legacy Early College, Nov. 17.
Sophomore point guard E.P. Sluder (3) led the Lions with 11 points in the win over Forsyth Country Day, while Elizabeth Harrington, Nahndi Smith and India Smith each scored 9. ACA is currently ranked 16 in the state by MaxPreps.
Head Coach John Williams and the Lions will try to pick up their fifth straight win, Tuesday, Dec. 8, when they host NCISSA Carolinas Conference opponent Asheville School (1-0).
