The Owen Warlassies fell to Polk, Dec. 2, in a battle of unbeaten Western Highlands Conference volleyball teams.

The Wolverines entered the contest with a roster that includes eight seniors from a squad that finished first in the conference for its third consecutive season in 2019. Polk jumped out to an early lead against the Warlassies and never looked back.

Polk jumped out to an early lead and dispatched Owen in straight sets to improve to 3-0. The Warlassies, who opened the season with consecutive victories over Mitchell, dropped to 2-1.

Owen will look to get back on track when the team travels to Burnsville, Thursday, Dec. 3, to take on Mountain Heritage.
