The Warhorses improved to 4-1-1 through the first six games of soccer season with a 4-0 victory at home over Madison, Feb. 19.

Owen will look to remain undefeated in the Western Highlands Conference when the team hosts Polk, Monday, Feb. 22.

The Warhorses opened the soccer season, traditionally a fall sport, with a 3-3 tie on the road against Smoky Mountain before rebounding three days later with an 8-4 victory against Brevard. The team’s only loss came on the road against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy to open the month of February.

Owen entered conference play, Feb. 9, with a 5-2 win against Avery in Newland before traveling to Polk the next night and outlasting the Wolverines, 3-2. Friday’s win over Madison was the third straight for the Warhorses.
