Sarah Girard presented her senior Capstone, a showing of her ceramics opened April 24, 2009 with a reception in the Westminster College Art Gallery in Patterson Hall. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art on May 16, 2009, and plans to continue her education in graduate school.

Westminster College to Showcase Student Research and Creative
Accomplishments
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College’s Drinko Center for
Excellence in Teaching and Learning hosted “The Best of
Westminster” undergraduate research symposium Friday and Saturday,
April 24-25.
The symposium is a showcase for student creative and research efforts.
It will feature the work of 91 Westminster students, who will present
posters, oral presentations, documentaries, art projects, and
performances over the two days.
“An important goal of Westminster College is to create a culture in
which intellectual activities such as research and creativity are
valued,” said Dr. Terri Lenox, Westminster associate professor of
computer science and co-director of the Drinko Center. “The Best of
Westminster - The Undergraduate Research Symposium allows students to
showcase their work and allows the community to celebrate their
work.” Posters were display in the McKelvey Campus Center.
Sarah Girard is a daughter of Charles and Denise Girard.
Girard, a senior fine art major, is a graduate of Allegheny-Clarion
Valley High School. Her poster is “Ceramics.”
Caitlin Girard successfully completed her freshman year at Westminster College with studies for degrees in both Public Relations and Music. Caitlin was initiated into Lambda Sigma,the sophomore honor society.

I am from Emlenton, PA and now reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have been in the SouthWest for almost 5 years and it has been 2 1/2 years since I've been back home. We will be back home the first weekend in June to celebrate my nephew's graduation from High School, Joshua Best.

I was born in Oil City, raised in Parker. Went all thru school in Parker. Graduated from Parker High School in 1951 YIKES! Have lived in Michigan for many years in a small town called Frankenmuth. My two nieces live in Parker and one of my nephews lives in Emlenton. My wife and I try to get back to Parker a few times a year to visit my brother Larry Wagner and also to pay our respects to Mom (Rose Wagner-deceased)and to Step Dad Bus Wagner (also deceased) I would appreciate hearing from any old friends so e-mail me or write.
